Verbose, inconsiderate, impulsive and fanatical. She is additionally condescending and disdainful to all she perceives as being lesser in faith to the Imperium than herself -- an opinion which encompasses not only everyone who isn't a zealot regardless of rank or authority, but a good number of fellow zealots as well.

For her normally abrasive nature she is quite close to her father; Montecristo is not only the sole person she ever speaks to with fondness and not her usual demeaning, irritable tone, but also the only person whose requests of her she responds to with reverent obedience rather than annoyance.

Any who are familiar with Marcella's father would note the two of them are strikingly similar in appearance. Like all Montecristo's children Marcella inherited his fair complexion, dark hair, and athletic physique; his influence on her even extends to the way she speaks, her Low Gothic often interspersed with High Gothic in the same manner as his. The only feature she seems to share with her Cadian mother Flavia is the very distinct lavender color of her eyes.
Her eyes have been often described as stunning and quite lovely by those close enough to catch a good look at her; she is also spoken of as being rather pretty under her rebreather by the few who've caught glimpses of her without it, though anyone who isn't her father commenting on her appearance she replies to with withering scorn.

She would never admit to this except in private to her father himself as she is well aware of the transgression others would consider this to be, but unsurprisingly for all her tireless devotion to the Imperium and its teachings she is actually loyal to Montecristo first, before anyone and anything else. Being a zealot himself his interests are always in perfect alignment with her own, and yet in her heart still lies that heretical loyalty: were he ever to have his own interests differ from those of the Imperium and choose to forge his own path, she would follow without even the slightest of hesitation.

backstory

Marcella and her twin brother Marcellus were born as the third and fourth children of Montecristo and Flavia, Marcella being older by seven minutes as she sometimes reminds her brother when they have disagreements. As she and her brother, along with her older siblings, were born while their parents were still of little rank in the Inquisition and particularly their mother not cleared of her convictions, they were forcibly removed from their parents' care while still infants and raised as orphans of the Imperium. Though Flavia had nothing with which to bargain, Montecristo was able to leverage his somewhat higher rank in petitioning Rannick for being allowed access to his children, in exchange for teaching them to be loyal to the Imperium.
While Marcella lived alongside children who were truly orphaned, she saw her father regularly and became quite fond of him from an early age, quickly adopting his mannerisms and High Gothic-influenced way of speaking, as well as readily absorbing the teachings her father had given his word to indoctrinate his children with. She saw her mother much more rarely, and through a combination of her mother's antagonistic nature and her father's lessons on hatred of psykers (of which her mother was one), Marcella never felt more than disdain for her mother.

As time passed Montecristo slowly rose in rank in the Inquisition, eventually reaching Interrogator and then even Inquisitor himself, and established his own noble house which Marcella found herself a part of once she grew to adulthood. While she spent her time before this taking on any work offered to her within her skillset as a zealot of slaughtering the enemies of the Imperium on her own or occasionally alongside her twin brother, once her father had a living space that could accomodate her she returned home and worked regularly alongside him instead.
Not shy about playing favorites, her father eventually saw fit to bestow upon her -- amongst other things -- an inheritance of a relic blade and revolver much like his own. She deeply treasures both these weapons, maintaining them immaculately in between use.
